注意事項：
Joomla 5ではMySQLデータベースバージョンが８以上でないと使えない。多くのレンタルサーバーではMySQL5.7が主流で8は提供されていない。したがって、Joomla 3から4にマイグレーションするしか無い。一度、Joomla 4にマイグレーションしたサイト、またはJoomla 4でサイトを構築した場合、Joomla 5への変更はアップデートプロセスになるので簡単になる。
多くのJoomla 3サイトはJoomla 4へのマイグレーションで問題を抱える。今まで使用していたExtensionが使えなくなったり、同じExtensionでもJoomla 4専用に再インストールする必要があったりする。Joomla 3から4へのマイグレーションプロセスは時間と苦労が伴う。
Joomla 3のサイトが単純で小さい場合はJoomla 4で新規にサイト構築をしたほうが早く、問題なく作れる。
